In November 2018, TerraClear launched a trial of a new school program in Paksong District called TerraKids. Four target schools were identified and TerraClear worked together with the Paksong Ministry of Sports and Education in order to organize events at each of the schools. Over 1,000 students took part in educational programs about subjects like: children’s rights, safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene.
Through generous donations from around the world, TerraClear was able to provide each classroom in the schools with a water filter!
In 2019 TerraClear is planning to continue and expand the TerraKids program to other schools and districts in southern Laos.
